July School Holiday Pony Sessions

Looking for a fun and confidence-building holiday activity? Join us for a one-on-one pony experience at Huntly Community Riding Centre!

Cost: $30 per child for a 1-hour private session.

During the session, children will spend time with both of our friendly ponies, Mocha and Charlie, learning valuable horse care and handling skills in a safe and supportive environment.

Your child will enjoy:

• Brushing, grooming and patting the ponies

• Building confidence around ponies

• Learning how to lead Mocha through obstacles

• Spending time with our larger pony, Charlie, to develop their confidence with bigger horses

• Finishing with a lead-rein ride in the arena, or for more confident riders, an off-lead ride (at the instructor's discretion)

These sessions are tailored to each child's confidence and experience, making them perfect for beginners wanting to build their horse skills.

Afternoon sessions are available.

More about the Ponies

Mocha is our little 11hh pony and is a great size for learning how to handle and lead a pony, navigate obstacles, and build confidence around horses.  Lead rein ride for the little riders.

Charlie is our bigger pony and is perfect for obstacle activities in the arena, lead rein rides, and for more confident riders, off lead ride around the arena. 

Sessions can accommodate more than one participant; however, with only one facilitator available, only one horse can be ridden at a time and will occur an additional fee for the extra participants.
